Grandads Sunday quiz:
1) why do two families of starlings eat, drink and fly together.
2) why do birds wash and splash in the birdbath.
3) which birds have eaten all of our wildflower seeds.
If all three questions are answered correctly there is a prize of two dubloons.

1. They’re very social birds who keep their young with them until about 5 weeks old.
2. Birds like to clean their feathers regularly as when they’re foraging bits of mud and leaves can get caught up.
3. Could be finches, tits, blackbirds or starlings
